The Canyon Road Dinner Experience

Our "Taste of Canyon Road Tour" introduces visitors to Santa Fe's famous Canyon Road through its art, architecture, history, and food. We explore this beautiful and historically rich street by foot, learning how the neighborhood has transformed since the 1600s from a sleepy Spanish farming community to its current status as one of the country's largest and best-known art markets. We'll learn how Santa Fe got its start as a famous art colony in the early 20th century, and discuss how the city's art scene is growing and evolving today.  Along the way, we'll sample food & drink from Canyon Road's diverse set of restaurants - from traditional New Mexican flavors to innovative new cuisine. Like all of our tours, what brings this tour to life is the stories behind the food & drink establishments that we visit.

NOTE: all of our tours are designed with adventurous eaters in mind. All tastings have been curated and pre-selected. We are able to offer vegetarian and gluten free alternatives at all tour stops - you will have an opportunity to indicate this during the checkout process.

What People Are Saying About This Tour

“The Canyon Road Food Tour was definitely the highlight of our visit to Santa Fe and we will recommend it to anyone planning a trip there. We enjoyed talking to our guide and the couple taking the tour with us as well as the fabulous history of Canyon Road, art galleries, food and wine. Take this tour!!”

“I knew Santa Fe had incredible food and art, but this tour made me want to stay (or move) there! The history, amusing stories, and conversations with the artist/curator at two art galleries were amazing. And then there was the food. The quality and quantity, along with explanations from the owners/chefs, far exceeded our expectations. One suggestion - don't plan for dinner after the tour. You will be full and may want to stay and enjoy the last stop with your new friends.”
