Founded in 1992, Range Cafe prides itself on doing “ordinary food, exceptionally well.” The restaurant specializes in American and New Mexican comfort food, including breakfast burritos, green chile stew, meatloaf, and chicken bacon pasta. They locally source ingredients whenever possible, and have a comfortable and eclectic atmosphere.

An Albuquerque favorite since 2006, The Grove Cafe & Market specializes in breakfast, brunch, and lunch, with an emphasis on locally sourced ingredients and sustainable agriculture. They offer upscale brunch food at affordable prices, and also bake a variety of scones, muffins, and cookies in-house daily. Flying Star Cafe has been serving up delicious brunch and breakfast since its founding in 1987. The restaurant now has six locations in the Albuquerque area, so you’re never far from a Flying Star! They serve classic American brunch food with a Southwestern twist - try their southwest bennie, a New Mexico-inspired take on eggs benedict that features eggs, queso, and green chile sausage on an English muffin. Founded in 2011 by a husband and wife team, the restaurant offers creative delicious food perfect for a brunch get-together. As their name suggests, Farm and Table offers locally grown and sourced farm-to-table meals with modern flair, with up to 80% of their menu sourced from local farmers, ranchers, dairies, and food artisans. The restaurant is situated on a working farm, with beautiful views, patio dining, and great ambiance. For brunch, check out their sweet potato hash with confit chicken, soft-cooked egg, endive, and whipped goat cheese, or their enchilada and eggs with carne adovada, pinto beans, tucumcari cheddar, and red or green chile.

9. Tia Betty Blue’s

They have since grown into a thriving coffee shop with two locations serving sandwiches, soups, and more in addition to the classic coffee and cheese offerings. You can build your own deli sandwich, or choose from any of their specialty sandwiches, which each come with the option of a soup or side salad. Try their Rio Grande, featuring pastrami, turkey, ham, green chile, and three cheeses on a pita, or their C&C Triple Decker with ham, turkey, bacon, dill havarti, mayo, lettuce, sprouts, and tomato on toasted rye. They also offer takeout sandwiches if you’re looking to grab lunch on the go!
